My grandmother (I call her Nanny) was super influential when I was growing up and deciding what kind of person I wanted to become. She was incredibly unique and quickly became my first and favorite subject -I wanted to share with the world just how special she was. She was like the long lost Golden Girl from Baltimore. She was the first to show me unconditional love, and never let me give up on my dreams.
My last promise to her before she passed was that I would never give up on myself or my dream-- I would stay the course on my journey to being my best self, and becoming a photographer.
My goal as a photographer is to capture genuine, uninhibited emotion from you, your spouse, your friends and family on your wedding day. I want to give you a front row seat to the joy, laughter, and love as you look back and remember one of the most important days of your life. I also want to bring another level of fun, humor and excitement to your wedding experience through my character + personality.
I love capturing both planned and unplanned shots. One of the most memorable was when the venue's videographer Hector accidentally tripped and ripped the veil off the bride. A moment to remember!
This is more than a job. It is truly an honor to be able to capture a moment shared with those who have made you who you are. My goal for couples is when they look back they can relive their moments, from laughing in one to tearing up in another. I want my images to inspire everyone who sees them. I want to capture the Nannys of your life. The people that made you exactly who you are. The people that made it possible for you to find the love of your life.
